Ancient Egyptians represented their Gods as human beings with 

animal or bird heads.  Here, Horus is shown as a falcon or hawk,

and was the God of the heavens and skies!

His two eyes were the sun and the moon.  He was the protector of the king

and the king was often referred to as the 

"Living Horus."

He wears the two crowns of Egypt, one flat and square, the other

lng and high!
